This is the 3rd year for this fundraiser and it grows each year. Please invite your friends to see some great short films and support the upcoming 2010 Valley of the Vapors Independent Music Festival, March 17-21st, 2010.

Update:

The Arkansas Shorts screening committee has completed the selection process for The Arkansas Shorts 2010 Program. We received more submissions than we ever have in our short three year run from all across the state. Last year all of the entries except for two were from Hot Springs. This year Fayetteville, Arkadelphia, Conway, Benton and Hot Springs are represented. This is proof positive that Arkansas Shorts is growing!

We have received shorts in the documentary, narrative, music video and experimental formats, which will make for a very interesting, entertaining and varied program. It should be noted that this year program, although mostly suitable for all ages does include foul language, adult themes and some very far out experimental shorts.

Standout shorts include pieces from Matt McCormack, Chuck Dodson, Warren Criswell, Lesley Allen and five year old Eureka Smith to name a few.

In short, we are very excited for this years program look forward to seeing you at The Malco!
