HSDFI ACE Awards - Honoring Frank Broyles - TICKETS NOW AVAILABLE

 In 1998, the Hot Springs Documentary Film Institute developed the ACE award to recognize individuals who have brought cultural
enrichment to the State of Arkansas.

Our 2010 ACE recipient is the legendary Frank Broyles, who holds the distinction of being selected as the 20th Century’s Most Influential Arkansas Sports Figure.  He has dedicated 50 years of his life to the University of Arkansas Men’s Athletic Program and has the distinction as the Arkansas Coach with the most wins.

A legacy of bringing hope for Alzheimer’s caregivers was inspired by Frank’s wife of 59 years, Barbara Broyles. The Coach Broyles’ Playbook for Alzheimer’s Caregivers, authored by Frank for the Alzheimer’s Association, has helped families everywhere who have experienced the challenges of this disease.  Frank Broyles has distinguished himself through a lifetime of remarkable contributions for Arkansas and beyond.  His unique approach to the disease of Alzheimer’s is much like what he did on the field by having a solid game plan and a dedicated team. Please join us in honoring one of Arkansas’ finest.

Proceeds from the event will support the Hot Springs Documentary Film Institute’s year-round education and cultural programs as well as our World Renowned Documentary Film Festival.
