Throw It Down is a look at ‘A New American Family.’ Here is a 80 day Road Trip across the country where elite drum corps compete for top honors. We follow the Bluecoats of Canton, Ohio as they struggle to master the complex ‘Connexus’ drill and learn to live together. The film contains a combination of formal interviews, musicial performances, direct cinema hand held footage, slow motion and time lapse studies, dramatic vignettes, dream sequences and jokes.

Very good movie!
HSDFI Visitor on Sun, 10/18/2009 - 9:57pmSaw this one Sat. morning and was really impressed. As a former band geek in high school I could really relate to the struggle of getting the music down, getting the marching forms down, etc. I would definitely reccomend it.
