SLEDHEAD is the story about a group of men who are determined to prove they are the world’s best disabled hockey team. They play a seldom seen, little known, violent game of ice hockey in which players sit in titanium sleds, smashing into each other with abandon while firing hard rubber pucks 80 miles per hour. It’s a story about men who know they are disabled, their sometimes shocking appearance is hard to overlook, but refuse to be categorized as helpless and do not want pity.
