From 1972-2008, John McDonnell coached the University of Arkansas to 40 National Track and Field Championships. It is a record that may never be broken--or challenged. The Greatest Coach-Ever is a 26-minute documentary about the life and career of this native of County Mayo, Ireland, who was national coach of the year 30 times, coaching the Razorbacks to 84 Conference Championships in cross country, indoor and outdoor track. The film is produced by the team of Larry Foley and Jim Borden, who teamed up for the 2007 Mid-America Emmy Award winning documentary
